Some of our events may have a sign-up process where you will need to register ahead of time. We process submissions to gauge demand and limit fraudulent ticket purchases. Similarly, if you enter into a competition on our Platform, we will use your information to confirm your registration and to communicate to you about your entry.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH & WHY

Fairground Music Companies: We share information within the Fairground Music group of companies, in order for them to assist us to provide our services (for example, our family of associated companies may provide us with marketing, profiling, reporting and technical / product support).

Sales on our Platform: If you buy or sell tickets on our Platform, we will need to disclose your information to the buyer or seller (as applicable) in order for the ticket to be transferred to the relevant party. If you have bought any goods (such as merchandise) and services fulfilled by our Partners or other third-parties, we will need to share information with them so that they can process and fulfil your order(s) and / or provide the relevant service to you.

Our Partners: We share your information with our Partners so that they can promote, arrange and run events with which we are involved and for other reasons described in their respective privacy policies. Your information will be processed in accordance with their privacy policies.

We use your information when you transact with us (for example, to buy merchandise) so that we can process your order, send you customer service emails (including, booking confirmations and event reminders), take payment and, where required, provide you with customer support.

We create a user profile with the information we have, including as to how you use our services. We use your information to make sure that our communications and Platform content are relevant to you (for example, if you have identified certain favourite artists and genres, we and our Partners will inform you about similar events which you might be interested in). Because such personalisation is a core feature of our Platform and general service offering, you may only elect to opt-out of such personalisation by deleting your account on our Platform.

Additionally, we may, subject to our legal and regulatory obligations, retain and use your information for benchmarking, research and development, analysis, service enhancement and for related purposes provided, in all such cases, that such use does not externally identify or make reference to you.

We share your information with our Partners, for example promoters and venues, to enable them to run the event, allocate seating or to provide you with important event information.

Some of our events may have a sign-up process where you will need to register ahead of time. We process submissions to gauge demand and limit fraudulent ticket purchases. Similarly, if you enter into a competition on our Platform, we will use your information to confirm your registration and to communicate to you about your entry.

We also share your information with certain third-party service providers (for example, in connection with ensuring the security of our Platform, for event security and health and safety reasons and to prevent or detect unlawful behaviour or to enforce our contractual rights).

Exceptionally, we may be required to report information to an applicable legal or regulatory authority (for example, if we are investigating potential fraudulent activity).

Secondary Purposes (subject to your elections)

Marketing: To contact you with information or offers regarding our, and our Partners', upcoming events or services (via email, push and web notifications, SMS or social media platforms). Our Platform may, for example, request location information from you, or invite you to join a waiting list with respect to a particular artist, promoter or venue, in order to notify you of events taking place. You can change your marketing preferences at any time.

Advertising & Cookies: To deliver tailored advertising and marketing communications on our Platform, including on behalf of our Partners. You can change your preferences at any time.

Market Research: To conduct market research and analysis which helps improve and customize our services (and those of our Partners) and to contact you with satisfaction surveys or to participate in user research (for example, focus groups). You may unsubscribe at any time.

Health & Safety and Accessibility: To process your health information in order to meet any health and safety or accessibility requirements which you may have. We will seek your explicit consent to share any such information.

Value-Add Services: From time to time we work with commercial Partners and share information with these third-party data controllers in order to provide you with additional value-add services (for example, exclusive pre-sale). Where such sharing of information is not necessary in order for us to perform our contract with you, we will seek your explicit consent to any such sharing of your information.


WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH & WHY

Fairground Music Companies: We share information within the Fairground Music group of companies, in order for them to assist us to provide our services (for example, our family of associated companies may provide us with marketing, profiling, reporting and technical / product support).

Sales on our Platform: If you buy or sell tickets on our Platform, we will need to disclose your information to the buyer or seller (as applicable) in order for the ticket to be transferred to the relevant party. If you have bought any goods (such as merchandise) and services fulfilled by our Partners or other third-parties, we will need to share information with them so that they can process and fulfil your order(s) and / or provide the relevant service to you.

Our Partners: We share your information with our Partners so that they can promote, arrange and run events with which we are involved and for other reasons described in their respective privacy policies. Your information will be processed in accordance with their privacy policies.

Third-Party Service Providers: We use a variety of third-party service providers, including IT infrastructure, security and service entities, payment platforms, data analytics providers and marketing and communication specialists. Currently, our main third-party service providers are:

YOUR RIGHTS & ELECTIONS

Where we have relied on consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to object to processing on the basis of legitimate interests (although this right is subject to certain exceptions).

You have the following rights (which may be exercisable depending on the circumstances) in respect of the personal information about you that we process:

  • the right to object to processing of personal information.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of your personal information either with us or with the applicable jurisdictional regulator for data protection matters:

  • the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom (https://ico.org.uk/) in connection with Fairground Music Limited and associated entities; and

  • if you are an EU resident, the supervisory authority in the EU member state of your usual residence in connection with Fairground Music Limited.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your personal information will be retained for as long as required:

We have security measures in place to protect your personal information. The security measures we use are dependent upon the type of information collected.


INACCURATE OR AMENDED INFORMATION

If any of your personal information changes (including your correspondence details), please promptly update the relevant details via the 'Personal Settings' menu on our Platform. Failure to provide accurate information or to update information when it changes may have a detrimental impact upon our ability to provide our services.
